The Fabbaloo team has a new Chief Creative Officer: Sir Patrick Stewart.
Stewart, 80, joins our team to coordinate our artistic aspects, particularly with stage work, although we don’t seem to do as much of that lately as we had hoped.
Stewart is world renowned for his long and successful acting career, which began in 1966 and continues to this day.
While Stewart has been involved in multiple notable productions, his most famous role is no doubt playing Captain Jean-Luc Picard on the 1980s series Star Trek: The Next Generation. Personally, I’ve learned much from following Picard’s management techniques, and am excited to do so in-person with the newly upgraded Fabbaloo team.
One of the key reasons our team wanted to partner with Stewart is Picard’s frequent use of the fictional Star Trek Replicator. In fact, one of Stewart’s most famous lines is:
“Tea, Earl Grey, Hot!”
Upon which the Replicator would swiftly produce a steaming cup of the brown brew. That statement might have triggered the entire 3D print revolution we now find ourselves swimming deep within.
It’s this deep experience with replication we sought, as today’s world of 3D printing has almost made this fictional account possible in real life. Picard, I mean Stewart, will be able to provide creative direction for our 3D models and much more.
Creating the role of Chief Creative Officer is not unknown in 3D printing; it was first done back way back in 2014, when 3D Systems named will.i.am as their CCO. It’s not clear what results were obtained by that move, as we didn’t hear much afterwards.
Nevertheless, Picard, I mean Stewart, brings us a Replicator, and we’ll be able to quickly produce pretty much anything we want. Tea, coffee, shields, news stories, and even phasers!
Next year our goal will be to post 3D print stories from the moon and beyond, with the help of Picard and his 24th century technologies.
Soon we’ll be commencing the construction of our first Starship, the Fandango. Our first trip will be to Pluto, and …
Sorry, what?
Apologies, I’ve just been told this is a Wendy’s.
So this is an April Fools joke, right?
