Fabbaloo’s Rapid-Fire Interview Day is coming up this Thursday, 23 April!
This all-day online extravaganza is really only an “extravaganza” from our end, as Kerry and I will be dedicating the entirety of the day to catching up with the 3D printing industry as personally as we can…which, right now, means via video conference. For those we’re speaking with, the time commitment is significantly less: just 15 minutes! We’d be happy to spend more time with you, though, so we’ll also be hosting an hour-long virtual networking happy hour at the end of the day.
3D Printing Interviews
Earlier this month, we realized that we sorely miss the direct contact with the 3D printing industry that we usually enjoy during the busy spring calendar of trade shows and conferences.
Circumstances being what they are, face-to-face conversation and global travel aren’t really options. So while we’ve had a few virtual conferencing catch-ups lately, we decided to take that to a bigger scale and have a full conference day.
Kerry lays out quite neatly what we’re asking:
“If we know you, please bring details on your latest news. If we don’t know you, please be prepared to provide a bit of background and history about your company or project.”
Time slots will be filled first-come-first-serve via Calendly — you can sign up for a time to speak with us here.
Your booking will be routed directly to either Kerry or me; Calendly will let you know once you secure your time which of us you’ll be speaking with, and a confirmation and calendar reminder will go straight to your email. Additional guests can be added when you book simply by adding their email addresses in (great for PR/executive or other multi-person chats).
Day-of, simply click the Zoom link in your email and enter the conference password. We’ll then have 15 minutes to get right into your latest news, updates, strategies, and announcements.

We’d love to keep the earliest time slots dedicated to European companies, and keep the later times for North American businesses, to ensure convenience of time zone for everyone as much as possible.
Virtual Networking
We’ll be interviewing in 15-minute times from 10am through 5pm eastern time — but then, as with any good conferencing day, we’ll open things up for some networking.
Virtual happy hour will be on Hangouts from about 5pm to 6pm eastern. Come in for a bit, pop by to wave at familiar faces, or stay the whole time, we’ll be there! No need to register in advance for this one, just click the link and come say hi.
Conversation with the 3D printing industry is never lacking for interest, so let’s keep it more casual without sticking to one topic. Feel free to bring a glass of wine to your computer, let’s toast from afar (I’ll happily air-cheers with my glass of Malbec!) and let’s catch up as people, too!
