We spoke at length recently with Chris Norman, head of Digital Reality Corp, a Texas-based company that knows a lot about 3D printing and product engineering. They’ve been working on a new distributed 3D print service that sounds a lot more comprehensive than those available today. We don’t know all the details yet, as Digital Reality is keeping things pretty close until their launch, which apparently will take place later this fall in several stages, however, some selected folks are already being invited to sign up for the initial launch.

What do we know for sure? The name of the service is “Kraftwurx”, and the public launch will take place in mid-November. Meanwhile, sellers and bureaus will be able to sign up to participate in the service before then. You can check it out at the link below.
