Our friend A. Michael Berman recently did an onsite inspection of Desktop Factory’s progress in their Pasadena labs. According to his post:
I got a chance to make a brief visit to their office/lab in Pasadena a couple of weeks ago, and was very pleased to see the tremendous progress they are making.
Long-time Fabbaloo readers may recall that Desktop Factory is trying to produce a sub-USD$5,000 3D printer that would blow the doors off the whole space and bring the technology to the masses. They’ve had some difficulties in the past year, as they are breaking new ground.
But his report clearly confirms the positive reports on their progress we’ve heard, some directly from Desktop Factory Boss Cathy Lewis herself.
