Two More 3D Print Services

This week we uncovered two more 3D print services:

Metropolitan Works – Their Digital Manufacturing Centre is the UK’s “largest resource of new technology for rapid prototyping, manufacture, research and experimentation”.

Envizage – an Australian-based company providing a wide variety of rapid prototyping services, including not only 3D printing, but also selective laser sintering, stereolithography, vacuum and metal casting and CNC. Scanning and engineering services are also available.

Are they similar? Yes and no. While both offer a variety of technologies, Metropolitan Works appears to cater primarily to experimenters, designers and perhaps even students. Meanwhile, Envizage appears to cater to more industrial users.
