LOOP 3D announced a new and powerful professional 3D printer, the LOOP PRO X+ Turbo 3D printer.

We’ve been following developments at the Turkish 3D printer manufacturer for some years. Their initial contact with us involved an unusual continuous 3D printing system, but they’ve since then moved on to larger-scale professional 3D printers.

The new LOOP PRO X+ Turbo 3D printer sports a very large build volume of 500 x 340 x 485 mm, almost placing it into the large format category. Here are the key specifications:

  • Dual 1.75mm filament extruders
  • Single printhead
  • Servo motors instead of stepper motors
  • CNC-milled aluminum frame
  • Automatic filament loading
  • Filament run-out processing
  • Automatic spool swap during run-out situations
  • Ability to use soluble or breakaway support material
  • Automated door locks
  • Cloud monitoring and slicing system
  • Four spool integrated spool bay
  • Integrated nozzle cleaning station (for material changes)
  • Plug-and-Play modular design for easier maintenance
  • Magnetic PEI flexible build plate
  • Automatic dual sliding doors

The system is designed to print engineering materials, and LOOP 3D is providing their own carbon fiber materials, along with an ASA option and a special breakaway support material.

The LOOP PRO X+ Turbo 3D printer looks to be quite a powerful professional 3D printer.
