The 3D printed counter bin [Source: Printables]

This week’s selection is the Counter Bin 2.0 by Printables contributor FlaminSpike.

This model is a highly useful accessory. It’s exactly what it looks like: a specialized dustpan for collecting bits off of a table or counter. Just hold it at the edge and sweep your bits into the bin — Easy!

This is version 2.0 because it’s improved over a previous design. FlaminSpike explains:

“This model combines the best features of two popular designs, addressing some common print issues and usability flaws. The Counter Bin is perfect for keeping your kitchen counter clean and tidy, allowing you to easily collect food scraps and debris while you work.”

There’s not much to this 3D model; there are no parts to assemble. Just print it and use it. That’s the beauty of this design: it’s easy to make and would be incredibly useful in both kitchen and workshop.
