Creality has launched its annual Creality Cloud Designer Awards for 2024.
The company’s massive cloud system, Creality Cloud, provides a worldwide platform for designers to share their works. You can upload and download 3D models, print settings, makes, documents, and other materials related to 3D printing. We don’t know exactly how many 3D models are in Creality Cloud, but it is a very large number and growing constantly.
The awards, the third annual, recognize the most outstanding contributions to the platform. There’s a large prize pool of US$15,000 to be given to the award winners.
One hundred winners will be selected in three categories:
- Most Influential Designer of the Year (5 Winners)
- Model Designer of the Year (5 Winners)
- Top Designers of 2024 (90 Winners)
The ten most influential and model designers will be ranked and will be awarded with these amazing prizes, along with a medal:
- 1st Place: Creality K2 Plus Combo (Value: US$1499)
- 2nd Place: Creality K2 Plus (Value: US$1299)
- 3rd Place: Creality CR-Scan Otter 3D Scanner
- 4th Place: Creality K1C 3D Printer
- 5th Place: Creality Ender-3 V3 3D Printer
The 90 top designers will receive a medal, one month of Creality Cloud membership, additional 3D model exposure, and be entered into a draw for a Creality K1 SE 3D printer.
Creality selects 100 designers for this final stage of the competition based on their design quality, popularity of their models, and their activity in the online community.
The 100 individual designers have been listed on Creality’s site, but the top 5 Influential Designers and Model Designers have not yet been chosen from that group. This is done by voting, which concludes on January 15th.
Creality Cloud members can vote in the contest, and there are even prizes for the most active voters. These include filament spools, gift cards, premium membership periods, and even three desktop 3D printers for lucky recipients. The full rules of the contest are available here.
