Did you know we accept stories from readers?
It’s true; we have frequently featured posts by knowledgeable folks in the 3D printing community who want to tell everyone something of general or specific interest. On our About page you can see a long but incomplete list of some of the interesting folks who have appeared in our pages.
We’re a bit particular about what we publish, however, as we want to ensure readers receive value when visiting Fabbaloo. Obviously we want stories focused on 3D printing or related technologies such as 3D scanning or CAD tools. We want new ideas or concepts that deserve wider recognition.
From time to time we do receive unsolicited submissions, buried in the flow of incoming mail. We are constantly solicited by unscrupulous advertisers seeking a way to place their material on our pages. For those we politely decline, as we don’t think you are interested in topics such as online poker, inkjet cartridges or “medications”.
You’re interested in 3D printing, and that’s what we’re here to provide.
But sometimes it’s you that’s doing the providing.
If you have a new idea, project or other work related to 3D printing that you feel needs to be told, give us a shout and we will consider your proposal. If accepted, your story could appear in the Fabbaloo news flow.
Don’t be afraid if you’re not the best writer, as we have a professional editor on the case who can assist in the writing process. We just need a good idea, one that isn’t blatant advertising, and is something that can add knowledge for our readers.
If you’d like more details, including specifications for stories, we do have detailed information for those considering guest posting on Fabbaloo in our writing guidelines. Please have a read through and we’d be happy to answer any questions you might have.
