Would you happen to be in Frankfurt this week? So are we!
The Fabbaloo team will attempt to visit all of the near 400 exhibitors at the annual FormNext event taking place in Germany this week. We’ll be checking out the latest equipment, services and materials from the most notable vendors in 3D printing.
The FormNext event, which I believe is only three years old, now seems to be the single largest 3D printing event on the planet, with more – and larger – exhibitors than any other event we’ve attended. They’ve done a terrific job organizing this event at this scale in such a short time.
It’s going to be quite challenging for us, however. The event takes place over four days, or about 37 hours from start to end. If you do the arithmetic, you’d need to stop at a new exhibitor every 5.5 minutes to see all the exhibitors. That’s obviously not enough time, as many worthy vendors deserve much longer conversations. Oh, and we’ll need to stop for lunch too, I suppose!
As a result we may not be able to visit each and every booth, but we’ll try to see the ones we feel are most interesting and report our findings over the next several weeks.
Nevertheless, if you’re also attending or in the vicinity and would like to chat with us in person, or show us something of interest, we would like to hear from you. Please give us a shout here and perhaps we can meet you.
