It’s been more than a week, but 3D Printshow’s NYC fashion extravaganza made it onto CNN.
We were flipping channels when suddenly the normally tech-free presenters began talking about 3D printing as applied to the fashion world. The piece showed several works shown during 3D Printshow’s catwalk and interviewed a couple of designers.
It was almost 3 minutes of airtime dedicated to 3D printing.
We noticed the emphasis on the application of 3D printing – in this case fashion, rather than simply focusing on “3D printing is awesome”. This is a notable change.
Have we reached that point where most of the public knows about 3D printing?
[PS. No, our team somehow doesn’t appear in the video. But we were there!]
