Design of the Week: Finger Hook

This week’s selection is the Finger Hook by prolific Thingiverse creator spooner2011.

The Finger Hook is obviously a very simple piece, but it carries a couple of important properties. It’s a highly functional item, particularly if printed in strong ABS plastic. By adding a couple of holes, either by adjusting the STL model, or simply drilling them in later, you can then mount the Finger Hook in an appropriate spot for holding your stuff.

The other property we liked was the subliminal message. If you were to 3D print one of these you’d be able to (literally) give someone the finger.

And it’ll stay mounted on their wall, eternally presenting the finger.
