At trade shows vendors wish to thrill visitors by showing example prints from their machinery. Often the most impressive prints are artwork. That being so, Euromold is riddled with 3D printed artwork everywhere you look, at least in Hall 11, the home of 3D printing technologies during this year’s event. We thought you’d like to have a look at some of these fascinating arty exhibits. (Click the images for larger views)

4D Concepts printed this massive and highly detailed castle and town plan.

This massive 3D print at first glance appears far larger than any conceivable 3D printer’s volume – but then you realize it’s hanging from the ceiling and has stretched to its full length by gravity.

These 3D printed shoes by Objet are actually soft and flexible. We’d consider wearing them if they fit. And if we were female…

Objet also printed these amazing pieces from artist Neri Oxman.

This impressive Mount Rushmore-like sculpture is 2m wide and was 3D printed in a single operation on a massive VoxelJet 3D printer.

This 3D representation of a three story building was produced on the color Mcor IRIS 3D printer. It’s actually fully 3D, including windowsills and frames, each brilliantly colored.

Did we say Art and SOUND? Yes! This is 3D System’s live band equipped with 3D printed instruments.
