3D printer manufacturer Afinia has suddenly introduced a new line of plastic filament that has a very attractive feature: low cost. Their “Value-Line” is comprised of 1.8 or 1.75mm ABS filament sold in 1kg (2.2 lb) spools. Prices are only USD$31.99 per kg, one of the lowest we’ve seen recently. Afinia offers two colors priced at USD$35.99 per kg, those being “Glow Blue” and “Glow Green”. Evidently “Glow” costs USD$4 per kg.
The filament is intended for their own line of 3D printers, but should work well in other 1.75mm-sized 3D printers.
The Afinia filament comes in some interesting colors in addition to the glowy colors: Green, Pink, Black, Gold, White, Blue, Red, Orange, Purple, Yellow, Natural and Silver.
