World of Houses Contest

iMaterialise is running another contest for 3D modellers: the "World of Houses SketchUp Design Challenge". You'll have to use Google SketchUp with the iMaterialise plugin to create your house design, but otherwise it's all up to you and your imagination.

To submit your entry, you'll need to prepare a 845 x 300 pixel rendering, the .SKP file and pretty decent story about why it's cool.

The contest closes on 24 May, so you'd better get modelling right away. The top three winners will receive a 3D print of their winning entry. Also, every tenth entrant will apparently receive a "3D printed surprise" from iMaterialise. Hmm.

Good luck to all House Designers!
