A strange social experiment is underway, in which a plain sugar cube has been created using advanced 3D sugar printing technology. This apparently rare beast is currently on sale on eBay.

Wait, what? Who would buy a 3D printed sugar cube? Who would buy any sugar cube?

That’s exactly the experiment being undertaken by Alex Cullen, who wonders whether the public may find this item virally valuable. Is this a crazy idea? Perhaps, but there have been crazier eBay auctions in the past.

Do you need a 3D printed sugar cube? If so, act now because the eBay auction closes today.
