The Zoybar 3D Printed Guitar

It seems there is growing interest in 3D printed musical instruments. After the amazing 3D printed flute  we now see another 3D printed guitar: The Zoybar TOR. This funky item is composed of a small number of parts (three) printed by Shapeways.

Designed by Bård S D, this item is not available for sale at Shapeways, although you can still read the description and there are many more pictures available at Zoybar.

Sweet blog. Kevin Holmes of The Creators Project writes about an open source guitar that was made using Blender, Zoybar and 3D printing. The guitar, called the Tor was designed by the Norwegian SD Baard. Zoybar is an “open R&D” project where research is being carried out into musical instruments. . We think this is a fantastic project and are jealous that this guitar was 3D printed with Shapeways! A while back someone 3D printed a flute, now a guitar. How long until you can 3D print your entire band? Thanks for it.
